Nik Gowing at the World Economic Forum 2018

Nik Gowing is in Davos for the World Economic Forum annual meeting of the highest level leaders from corporates, businesses, governments and NGOs. This is his 22nd Davos. This year he did not try to be an official delegate. He wants to sample the extraordinary non-official ecosystem outside Congress on the Promenade, the Main Street of Davos. Nations, big companies, banks and many others are all competing to rent shop fronts for converting into high profile showcases of who they are and what they do.
